Blue Screen While Capturing Async Serial Data Blue Screen While Capturing Async Serial Data
If Windows blue screens while capturing async serial data,please download and install the updated driver below (instructions for updating are included in the file set and will be installed in the Asynchronous Driver Support folder beneath your product folder). Performance may also be significantly incresed by adjusting the Driver Receive Buffer Size (especially if you are seeing Driver Buffer Overflows). To do this, click on Options | System Settings and the Advanced button. The default for Driver Receive Buffer Size is 8. Try increasing it to 100. If you still have overflows, keep increasing the buffer size until they go away or until the maximum is reached. |
