Framing Errors in the Event Display

If the Event display is full of red characters, and clicking on one of those red characters shows that they are framing errors, there is something set wrong in the I/O Configuration window (baud rate, word length, etc) or FTS has miscalculated the maximum speed of the serial card you are using.  If you're sure that all the settings in the I/O Configuration are correct, then try changing the baud rate to 1/8 of the actual rate (for example, if your circuit is running at 9600 baud, set the I/O configuration for 1200 baud).  If that doesn't eliminate the framing errors, try 1/2, if that doesn't work, try 1/4.  One of these should work.
