Access Denied - Port In Use

This error indicates that the port(s) specified in the the Hardware Settings diaolg is being used by another program.  If you are in Spy (or Internal Tap) mode, be sure to start spying on the port before you start your application software.

Special note for RS-Lynx users:

If you run RS-Light, be sure to use the "Exit and Shutdown" option to exit RS-Light.  Using the "Exit" option will leave the port under control of RS-Light even after the program has been exited.
