USB v2.0 & v1.1-LIVE
FTS4USB simplifies understanding what is
happening on a USB circuit by simultaneously capturing, decoding,
displaying, filtering, and detecting errors—all live and in
real-time.
Includes Frontline's Unique FrameDecoder
Write custom decoders
or modify existing decoders with the included FrameDecoder Developers
Kit. Use them just like any of the decoders supplied by Frontline.
This can be useful to display items in a language other than
English, or to extend decoders to work with non-standard protocols.
New Toolbar Icons
All new, larger, more descriptive icons on our toolbars make
navigation easier:
Capture to disk
Capture to buffer has been eliminated; data is always captured to a
file. New Installer
The size of the installer has been reduced, from 40MB to 14MB for
quicker downloads. A bug that caused the installer to hang on some
systems has been fixed. New Export to csv file
Export has been simplified and improved. The Frame Display Summary
Pane may be exported with a right click. Print to
HTML
Printing now sends the data to your web browser and you may print
from there. The format more closely resembles the Event Display: |

Download FTS4USB using
the link at the top of the page, and enter VIEW when prompted for a
serial number. This will install a free capture file viewer. The
Free Viewer opens FTS4USB 6.8.9.0 and later files and offers the
full file analysis capabilities of the full product. |

2. Transaction View
Transactions are
presented in the Summary pane of the Frame Display with one
transaction per line. The frames that make up the transaction are
decoded in the Decode pane and have their own protocol tabs.
As a
result of creating the Transaction View, capture files created with
earlier versions of FTS4USB will NOT decode correctly in version
6.8.9.0 and later. Similarly, capture files made with 6.8.9.0 will
NOT decode correctly in earlier versions of FTS4USB. If you have a
capture file you need to share with someone who has the earlier
version of FTS4USB, they can upgrade from this page or install in
the free File Viewer.
