Event Display Window
- Data Flow Analysis
View data bytes and control signals - Live. Captured
data includes data bytes,
timestamp, control signal states, and
line errors. Byte value can be displayed in hex, decimal,
octal, binary, and either ASCII, EBCDIC, or Baudot. Delta time
between selected bytes or events can also be calculated. Multiple
Event Display Windows can be opened to allow users to view different
segments of the captured data. Isolate byte-oriented errors and
timing issues. Synchronization between the Event, Frame and
Statistics Displays enables you to find communications issues fast. |
Find Function
- Byte Level Search
Examine and search data as it is being captured or after
it has been saved. Quickly pinpoint problem areas in the captured
data or to move to a specific point in the datastream. Search
with bit-level wildcards, for time (absolute or relative), errors, and
signal changes. |

 |
Breakout Box Window
- Control Signal Status
Graphical view and real time status of each major
RS-232 control signal,
DTR,
RTS,
CTS,
DSR,
CD, and
RI. Control signal state
changes are counted and displayed. |
Signal Display Window
- Control Signal Analysis
Graphical view of control signal transitions as they are saved
and after they have been saved. Use Zoom Function to view the
state of control signals for a range of events, or changes over a
capture session. "Snap To" feature simplifies problem isolation
by causing the cursor to snap to the nearest signal change.
Synchronization between the Event, Frame and Signal Displays enables
you to find communications issues fast. |

 |
Event Export
- Event Export
Outputs Event level information in text, Excel, HTML, or
binary format. Output that is human readable, suitable for
importing into a spreadsheet or database, or useable by other programs.
Output range is user selectable. |
