Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me resolve a problem I'm having?
I have an RS-232 ComProbe II connected to my PC and when I start my Serialtest Async application I get the following message:
"The driver has not sent us vital configuration information". Would you like to continue to wait?". when I click YES, the message comes back again. When I click NO, "Cannot run this driver" message comes up.
I tried re-installing the drivers but with no success. Could the ComProbe hardware be broken?

I don't think it's broken, you've just got a part of the program running in the background. Run Task Manager, click on the Processes tab and find "RS-232ComProbe.exe" and kill that.

Serialtest should start normally.
